The Reimagining Project
We are embarking on a really exciting project to reimagine our Museum!
We have long-known that we aren’t making the best use of space in our converted Georgian townhouse, but a burglary in 2018 and the closure of our main first floor galleries gives us the opportunity to not only redesign a new gallery, but completely reimagine how we use all the space throughout the Museum.
We will be consulting widely on how visitors experience the Museum, and once we have developed a blue-print for the whole Museum, we will focus on redesigning the first floor as Stage 1 of the development.
This ambitious project will be costly, and take some time to deliver, but the journey we are undertaking will result in a vibrant and engaging Museum – one that will reflect our vision of ‘Connecting Cultures and Challenging Perceptions’.
