There is lift access to all floors. However, due to the building’s limitations, we may not be able to accommodate larger mobility scooters. The lift’s maximum dimensions are 73cm wide and 110cm deep. Please check that we can accommodate you before arriving.

There is a small step into the Museum. Please let us know if you would like us to put the wheelchair ramp in place.

We have chairs in all of our galleries and stools are available on floor landings.

There is an accessible toilet located at basement level which can be reached by lift from any floor.

Baby changing facilities and space to leave pushchairs are available – please ask at Reception.

Admission is free for accompanying carer/s.

Assistance dogs are welcome in the Museum.
