The MEAA celebrates Jane Austen 250 with a mini-tour connecting the Museum’s collection with Jane Austen and the Regency world of Bath.   

For Jane Austen’s birthday, discover how East and Southeast Asian art and culture shaped daily life in Georgian Britain from tea rituals to porcelain prestige with a unique tour that connects Bath to East Asia. 

Learn about Austen from a new perspective at the Museum of East Asian Art, located just steps from the Assembly Rooms, and explore exquisite Chinese teacups, blue-and-white porcelain, and the surprising global influences in Jane’s world.
