In The Tea and Crafts of Fukuoka, Comins Tea will discuss their project with Fukuoka Prefecture, exploring the rituals and crafts surrounding tea in the region. Hear from Michelle about Comins’ partnership with Fukuoka and the tea makers and craftspeople they met there. The crafts and techniques they use have been passed down for generations but remain a very much alive art.

Learn more about these incredible skills and the beautiful objects created from them with this online talk.

This event is offered on a Pay What You Can basis. We believe in the accessibility of arts and culture to everyone, no matter their financial circumstances. Our programme of talks is therefore offered on an affordable price scale. If you can afford to pay more, your choice helps support those you can’t.
