Come join us to celebrate the start of spring! With banner making, ink printing, and spring refreshments, celebrate spring in ESEA style here at the Museum. This activity is suitable for all ages, with different activities available for both young and old.
March 20 marks the Vernal Equinox, the start of spring in the Northern Hemisphere. Spring is an important time for many cultures across the globe, symbolising renewal and positive change. With flowers blooming, and the sun finally beginning to shine, it is the perfect time to celebrate life and growth.
As part of this event, we are working in collaboration with the National Trust, Bath Assembly Rooms, Little Lost Robot and More Trees BANES on a Blossom Parade taking place in April 2026. The banners you create at this event will become part of the parade, welcoming spring to the city of Bath from the Guildhall to Parade Gardens.
