Join us in this origami workshop specially designed for the family and a great way to get into the festival spirit!  Led by Anthony Samuels, local teacher and origamist, to create Christmas decorations using traditional Japanese folding techniques.

No previous experience required. A digital package with instructions and joining details will be sent before the event.

You will need:

  • Pre-cut square paper pre-cut squares of origami paper in a whatever bright or festive colours are preferred, including reflective, shiny or metallic for stars etc, in a range of sizes from 5-12cm squared.
  • For the card – thin card/s in single colour or two contrasting preferred colours
    suggested size approx A4
  • A glue stick or suitable liquid paper glue
  • A pair of scissors 
  • Any other miscellaneous decorative materials you fancy, i.e. glitter, sequins etc
