Recommended for children ages 6 to 10 (Year 1 to 6)
Musician and teacher, James Brookmyre, returns to the Museum of East Asian Art with some classic Japanese stories about friendship and kindness. From the comfort of your own homes journey to ancient Japan with James to meet Kappa, a benevolent river monster, and revisit the tale of Momotarō, the little boy who was born inside a giant peach. There will be an interactive drawing activity after the story reading session.
As this event is about friendship, we also invite children to bring their favourite toy or teddy bear to enjoy the story too!
