Join us in this special Lunar New Year-themed session. Guided by our resident origamist, Tony Samuels, we will be learning to fold ornate modular Chinese lanterns.
This workshop is tailor-made for beginners to level up their origami skills whilst creating decorations for your homes – a unique opportunity to celebrate the Lunar New Year whilst connecting and learning with others in a friendly online environment.
A pre-event pack including instructions, a materials list and joining details will be provided to all participants. Places are limited; early booking is recommended.
What you will need:
- Origami paper approx. 15 x 15cm, in colour(s) of your choice. If you don’t have coloured paper, white paper is also fine. You will need 6 pieces to make a lantern.
- Scissors or a small cutting knife
- A cord or string to hang your lantern
- Glue stick
