Dr Michael Pritchard
In this talk Dr Michael Pritchard looks at the history of the Royal Photographic Society and the type of photography being exhibited in the years up to Nancy Sheung joining the RPS. We will also explore Nancy’s own exhibition history with the RPS and how photography moved – in part – from the pictorial to more modern work. This was a change which Nancy herself mirrored in her own practice.
