Celebrate the enchanting Japanese Tanabata Festival, also known as the Star Festival, at our Museum! Join us for Tanabata wishing strip activities, along with a captivating trail that explores into our Museum objects through the lens of this inspiring Chinese and Japanese legend.

This exciting festival marks the beginning of our special collaboration with the Herschel Museum in Bath. Our “Star-Crossed Museums” campaign will give visitors an opportunity to engage with both the myth and the science. So join us this summer for an exciting programme of activities and events!
